Persian Carpet Cleaning Process
Using tried and tested methods of cleaning we are able to bring out the colours that you could no longer see in the rugs. All Persian rugs are dry vacuumed to remove all the loose dirt that becomes trapped in the rug.
A special PH neutral shampoo is applied to the rug and gently hand brushed into the rug. Once this process is completed the shampoo is rinsed out from the rugs. The rugs are left to dry on special drying stands and hand brushed for the rug pile to settle evenly.
The rugs are dry vacuumed again to release the softness from the rug. All rugs are wrapped in plastic and labelled ready for dispatch.
Pet Odour and Stain Removal
Pet urine odour from carpets is caused by bacteria in the urine. Ordinary carpet shampoo does not kill the bacteria and will only deodorise the carpet for a short period of time.
We use a special Micro-bacterial chemical that kills all the bacteria in the pet urine and therefore gets rid of the unpleasant odours.
Pet urine odour extraction process
If the Persian rug is dry then all the carpets are vacuumed to remove any dry loose dirt. Affected areas are sprayed with the special Micro-bacterial chemical. This chemical is left to react with the pet urine for about 10 minutes. Stains or marks are uplifted using our industrial extraction machines.
An area of about 30 to 40 centimetres around the stain is treated as the pet urine spreads out under the carpet and will always be bigger than the visible stain. The stain is extracted out using plain water. Our persian rug cleaning is pet and child friendly.
